random acts of kindness.
this has always been one of my favorite photos. first, it was one of the earliest shots I took with my (at the time) new digital SLR. second, this guy is a recognizable figure among those familiar with haight street and the characters it has to offer. third, while the focal point (the exchange of money) is a bit out of focus, I felt really lucky to have caught this moment.
